pocket monsters.

originally called felt friends because i plan to make more. so far it's just been monsters.

pocket because my daughter loves to carry hers around in her sweater pocket.

this sweater in particular. i put it in there to snap a picture, and now every time she wears that sweater she yells "montser! where my montser?! pocket, montser!"

there are two different options for beds, sleeping bag or matchbox. i suggest sleeping bag unless it's going to an older child. it got crushed within a few days with my little monster toting it around.

they are machine washable. hers has been through on accident 3 different times and it holds up well, and comes out looking much nicer!

hop on over to the shop and adopt one today!

garland curtains.

i had a big order for some black and silver garland for a Christmas tree.

before i sent it out i decided to play around with it a bit and get some fun pics.

i planned on just having deandra (the baby) model, but then of course enola and eliza wanted a turn!

this would be fun for a birthday background i think! behind the highchair of a one year old digging into their cake.

oh the possibilities!

button jewelry.

a loooooong time ago when i was in high school i got an idea for button jewelry. one of my teacher's girlfriends had a bracelet that i adored. i figured i could make my own, so i did!

sorted through my grandma's buttons and came up with two necklaces that i still wear today. (one all black, and one multicolored.)

i considered selling them then, going by the name shelley belly button. ha!

seems like there is more interest in them now!

so i have a few made up and listed in my shop.

i also got an order for a child's set.

i just so happened to have two of my favorite toddlers on hand to model them for me. they both wanted to keep them, so i might have to make some more for Christmas!
